Grant opportunity for media outlets 2019

Internews in collaboration with Baltic Center for Media Excellence (BCME) in the framework of the project „Supporting Independent Media in the Baltics Action (SIMBA)” funded by the US Department of State (DOS) announces a call for applications and invites local media based and registered in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania to apply for a grant.
The aim of the call is to support production of socially important stories. The stories must address pressing public interest issues in local community/region/country and must include multimedia elements. Experimentation with new formats is particularly encouraged.
This request for applications aims to fund and implement up to 18 projects all together in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The amount of awarded grant will be up to US$5,000.
Application must be filled out in English and include:
1. Completed Subgrant Application Template, Attachment 1.
2. Budget using Detailed Budget Template, Attachment 2.
Application and questions regarding the call must be submitted by email to:
LT-call@internews.org. The subject line for applications must include the words “CountryName, OrganizationName”.
